Started running rough Sunday night out of nowhere. Sounded like a deeper muffled sound from inside the car, not misfiring, no popping out of the exhausts(I've had misfires in other Z's). I could still hit full boost but didn't feel like it was pulling hard at all.
Drove to work Monday (all highway) and could not get it above 60 MPH unless going downhill. Same thing on the way home. Changed the fuel filter for shits and giggles, seemed to help for a minute but it went back to falling on its face.
Same thing this morning on my way to work, so I stopped at Nissan and dropped it off (even though I said I wouldn't I thought just maybe they would figure it out). F'n guy took it for an 8 mile joy ride, tells me the computer told them nothing, it ran perfect, no hesitation, prob a bad tank of gas, etc. blah blah blah. Then it ran OK on the way home today, I looked at the spark plugs, checked connectors, ECU says 55, no CEL. Then took it around the block and it seemed to have its balls back.
Just went to go somewhere and it was back to driving like ass. It starts, idles OK and revs smooth right up to 2500 RPMs. It hits it like a wall and just bounces at 2500 even if I have it floored.
